Last year I found a fabulous collection of vintage-inspired valentines, which I sent to twelve recipients. This year, following in the footsteps of my handmade thank you cards, I made valentines for those people closest to me. I love trying to match the right images with the right words for the right people. It’s a fun, creative challenge, and I hope the recipients of my Valentine’s Day cards enjoyed them. (I wanted to share them with you last week, but I didn’t want to ruin the surprise for those on the receiving end.)

Also, I had to share this beautiful handmade valentine my mom sent to me. She’s got a huge collection of fabric, thread and decorative pieces that she pulls together to make creative art. This valentine is a beauty and definitely one I’ll always keep.

So glad you liked the Valentine I made! I’ve already started a design for next year!
Next year’s already?? The pressure is on!
