It’s so hard to believe that I have completed my goal of writing 52 letters to 52 people in 52 weeks. I’m so excited to ring in the new year with several new friends and pen pals, people who enjoy writing snail mail as much as I do. Thank you to everyone who sent holiday greetings and handwritten letters right up to the last day of the year.

I just sent out the first e-letter of the new year, in which I detail my plans for this site for the upcoming year, but suffice to say I’m going to keep my blog alive. I rang in the new year with a stack of letters that I have to respond to, and I can’t wait to get writing. While I was traveling over the holidays, I tore several pages out of magazines, and in 2013, I’m going to try to make my own envelopes. I love when people send creative handmade envelopes, and this year I want to do something similar.

I don’t have any specific letter writing goals for 2013, but I’m sure this is going to be a great year for handwritten letters. I may be up to my elbows in technology, but I always have time to grab a piece of paper and a pen!

Do you have any letter writing goals in 2013? I’d love to hear them!
